This August, Tim-Fred Jatto, a refugee from Nigeria who is now resident in the UK, will be setting off from Land’s End to ride the 1,071 miles to John O’Groats. Along with his co-riders, Andy Morgan and Phil Lane, Tim is hoping to raise £10,000 for Bristol Refugee Rights, an organisation that cares for refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol, UK.

To make Tim’s trip possible and maximise the amount of money we raise for refugees and asylum-seekers, we need to borrow or source donations of gear. We want to ensure that Tim has as comfortable and smooth a ride as possible, so we’re looking for good quality equipment. We will be taking out comprehensive cycling trip travel insurance, which means that we will be able to replace any equipment that is lost, stolen or damaged, like for like and as new.

Sponsorships in kind or in the form of a financial donation are most welcome. If you’re a company or organisation would like to help please contact Asli Tatliadim, Impact and Communications Co-ordinator at Bristol Refugee Rights: asli@bristolrefugeerights.org

Thanks so much for your help. If you have any questions regarding the trip or the equipment we need for Tim, please contact Asli or Andy Morgan: andy.morgan@mac.com
